Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Upstate Drone Services and the services we provide. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.

Services

Upstate Drone Services provides commercial drone inspection, mapping, and documentation services as described in each project quote. Final deliverables, turnaround times, and scope are defined in the project confirmation we send before each engagement.

Payment

Payment is due upon delivery of project files unless otherwise agreed in writing. For recurring or multi-site engagements, billing terms are outlined in the service agreement. We accept ACH, check, and major credit cards.

FAA compliance

All operations are conducted under FAA Part 107. We are responsible for obtaining any required airspace authorizations (LAANC) for the flight area. You are responsible for notifying site personnel of drone operations and securing any required landowner or property access permissions.

Weather and rescheduling

Drone operations may be postponed due to weather conditions that exceed safe operating limits (sustained winds above 25 mph, precipitation, visibility below 3 miles). We will reschedule at no additional cost.

Limitation of liability

Upstate Drone Services carries commercial drone liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Intellectual property

Upon full payment, you receive full rights to all deliverable files produced for your project. We may retain anonymized examples of work for portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
